PR
Taken from the critically-acclaimed LP, ‘How To Live 100 Years’, Omid Nourizadeh aka 16B showcases his songwriting abilities alongside his sublime production skills with the techy vocal house number, ‘Doubt’.
Up first on remix duties on disc 1 is Flatline who toughen things up in their techy yet funky manner and whose sound has been drawing plaudits from Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong, Erick Morillo and more of late while Omid’s original version heads up the A side of disc 1. Over on disc two, Mr Dan and Massimo combine their talents as Danmass to deliver a fine slippery house re-rub while Derby-based star-on-the-rise, Brooks provides a jacking, heads-down, electro-influenced re-interpretation for those twisted 3am moments. The package is finished off by 16B’s instrumental version for those with an aversion to voices.
Future funk sounds with depth and edge, we reckon.
