Following on from the rather well-received ‘Escape (Driving To Heaven)’, ‘The Game’ displays Omid 16B’s tougher dancefloor prowess.

The Original mix of ‘The Game’ heads straight down tough tech house avenue with Omid’s electric production giving the beats an insistent feel as dark words drift over the backing before a crackling high-end acid riff is introduced to the mix. Omid’s Acid Dub is the second of 16B’s mixes on the package with a low, looped acid line starting small before rising up and interacting with the deep bass tones.

Remixes come from Tony Thomas and Marcelo Castelli with Thomas’s turbo-charged interpretation beefing things up in his own unique heads-down way, while Castelli’s mix continues the tribal theme layering heavy insistent percussion over rumbling kettle drums and flowing bassline.
